Helsinki Dance Festival Neoclassical Prix

Neoclassical Prix gives an opportunity for talented dancers to compete in neoclassical ballet. Neoclassical ballet is a contemporary and refined form of ballet that blends traditional techniques with modern artistry. It's characterized by its fluidity, intricate movements, and the freedom for choreographers to infuse their unique style.

The competition will be divided into several rounds, with the first round being a regional competition or video audition. The judges will select dancers to move on to the semifinals, which will be held live in front of an audience during autumn 2024.

The semifinals and finals will be held on the stage of Helsinki's Alexander Theatre. The competition will be judged by a panel of internationally renowned dance professionals, who will evaluate the dancers based on their technique, artistry, and overall performance.

The Helsinki Dance Festival Prix is a unique opportunity for young dancers to showcase their talents and compete against some of the best dancers in the country. It is also a chance for audiences to experience the beauty and power of dance, and to witness the next generation of stars.
